MEET OUR TEAM 

LYNDA FENTON 

Lynda is our Managing Director and has spent 47 years working in HR. She undertook her IPD examinations in 1974, gaining a distinction in Psychology. 
 
Originally employed as an HR Manager in Asda, she moved to HR Manager roles in Double Two Shirts, and an Engineering Company. 
Since May 2000, Lynda has been an Employment Law Adviser helping employers in all aspects of HR. Lynda also acts as an advocate in Employment Tribunal. 
 
Lynda has studied the following: 
 
Certificate in Employment Law 
Specialist Employment Law Paralegal Qualification 
 
Lynda is a keen supporter of cancer research and undertakes a run every year on their behalf. 

FRANCESCA BROOKE-FENTON 

Francesca is our Business Development Director and has been with Empact since July 2016. 
 
Francesca's background in administration and secretarial, in well know firms such as Hammonds Direct Solicitors, DLA and KPMG, means Francesca has a great knowledge of inside a business. 
Francesca is being put through intensive training including: 
 
Employment Law certificate completed in 2016 
Minute taking course completed 2016, 
Effective business communication in 2017 
 
These all compliment her previous qualification of Business and It Level 1 and 2 in 2001. 
 
Francesca is also a keen charity supporter and has raised money for Bethany Smile by doing a skydive and taking part in Fashion shows and Action for children by abseiling the Trafford Centre. 

JILL TINSLEY 

Jill Tinsley is our Senior HR Consultant. She has 25 years’ experience in Human Resource Management and consultancy work and is accustomed to assessing and developing practical business focussed HR solutions quickly and sensitively. She has worked in the commercial, voluntary, education and care sectors. 
 
Jill’s areas of expertise include (but are not limited to): 
 
Employment Law 
Organisational change and restructuring 
Development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, systems, contracts, handbooks 
Performance management including disciplinary and grievance processes 
Workplace conflict and mediation 
HR audits and complex investigations 
Management training and coaching 
 
In addition to having a Law degree (LLB Hons) from Cardiff University, she is also qualified to CIPD Level 7 and has a Certificate in Management from the Institute of Learning and Management. 
 
Jill has an excellent knowledge of Employment Law and is a qualified workplace mediator, who has trained with ACAS.
